The activity of the company SAM, Società Accumulatori Meridionali, is a continuation of the activity of the company FAI, in the same location and with the same trade marks, estabilished in 1990 by Ing. Enrico Arreghini.

The factory located in Calitri in the province of Avellino has a total area of 20.000 square meters and produces Lead- acid batteries for SLI and motive power applications. The complete production cycle goes from the lead oxide production to the finished battery charged and ready for use.
