Nuova S.A.M. SpA produces batteries for every use: starter, light traction and elements stationary e per traction.
It is for position and for dimension, the most important reality in the south of Italy for batteries' production. It is able to supply national and foreign market.

Now the Group is working hard with big investments with I.B.S. srl to realize a modern plant to recover lead from exhausted batteries and with Nuova S.A.M. SpA to produce traction batteries.

1) I.B.S. project:
The recycling of exhausted batteries works in 3 steps:
      a) Breaking: recover of lead and plastic;
      b) Fusion of pastel and production of refined lead ;
      c) Production of lead-antimonium alloy.

2) Batteries Production
Nuova S.A.M. SpA has continued the activity of FAI, started in 1990, of starter batteries, completed the production with light starter ( battery for truck), traction (battery for trolleys), light traction and semi-stactionary batteries. Traction is becoming core business of the Company. Today, Nuova S.A.M SpA, after having modernized the whole plant, is able to supply to the market the all types of elements DIN (soldered and bolted) and also all British line. Besides to satisfy market need, Nuova S.A.M. SpA has realized elements reinforced in capacity.

Nuova S.A.M. SpA speak highly of a long experience in production and trading of industrial accumulators, located in a context dedicated to care and respect of territory. It has concentrated its objectives on certified quality, punctuality of service and total recycling of product.

Nuova S.A.M. SpA and I.B.S. are located in industrial area of Calitri (Avellino). All the project finished in 2006 and soon it will work completely .
